About the Author

Jocelyn Mackenzie makes music, sweaters, cookies, mix cds, and now, a comic about her band (and other stuff). Knitting pays her bills. She lives in Brooklyn with four boy roommates, her goldfish Jeff Goldblum, and her new-found pitbull Whiskey. Jeff likes to swim and wiggle, Whiskey likes to play tug-of-war and fill hearts with rainbows, and all four of her roommates like to sing songs and tell innappropriate jokes.

A few years ago, Jocelyn earned a B.F.A. from the Maryland Institute College of Art, which recently removed the comma from between the “institute” and “college” in its name. Apparently there was a committee that decided this must be so. She was not on that committee and deeply mourns the comma’s loss.
